Gerald Wade was born on March 14, 1936 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Jean Wade and passed from this life on June 29, 2022 in Tyler, Texas. He was 86 years old. He attended Weleetka Public School where he made many friends and played high school football, graduating in 1954. He enlisted in the US Air Force that year and served in London, England until 1958. Upon returning to the United States, he attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture.

Read moreClearview citizens enjoyed a day of celebrating the 4 of July. Citizens and guests celebrated with a blast of fireworks, food, and games on Saturday before the 4 . Guests came from all parts of the state to visit and witness the grand display of fireworks which lasted throughout the midnight hour. Children played in the streets while adults renewed old acquaintances. It was a fun time to see Clear view come alive once again.
