Read moreOn February 16, 2022, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) Agent Brian Bagwell was briefed by Agent in Charge Mitch Smith, of a residence at 408 South Main Street in Wetumka that was believed to have approximately 600 pounds of marijuana inside of the residence. Smith told Agent Bagwell that John Rhinehart was arrested on a Hughes County Drug court violation and had made statements to the jailer while he was being booked into the Hughes County jail about marijuana being in his house. He told the Jailer that he had approximately 600 pounds of marijuana in the front room of his residence. The jailer then observed Rhinehart making a phone call on the recorded phone lines at the Hughes County Jail. The jailer then spoke with Deputy Dane Scribner about the statements that were made by Rhinehart.
