Teague announces for County Sheriff

I grew up on my family’s farm outside of the little town of Tribbey Oklahoma in Southern Pottawatomie County. From the time I was old enough to hold a shovel I worked alongside my father and grandfather at our family-owned business drilling water wells and installing water systems. When we weren’t off working, we spent our time on the farm raising cattle and bailing hay. I am thankful for the time I spent working with my father and grandfather, because it showed me what you can accomplish with a good work ethic.

June 18th Primary Election Reminder

Primary elections for federal, state, and county candidates are scheduled for June 18 across the state. On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Early voting will be held Thursday June 13th and Friday June 14th 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. or Saturday June 15th 8 a.m. -2 p.m... A list of early voting locations and the election list are avail able on the State Election Board web- site. You can find your polling place us ing the OK Voter Portal.

Service held for Thomas Warren Sawyer

Thomas Warren Sawyer, 70, of Ada, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his home in Ada. Tom was born on February 13th, 1954 in San Diego, California to his parents Harry Sawyer and Thelma Jean (Sweet) Sawyer. As a young man, after he graduated high school in 1972 and went on to further his education at Wayne Vo-Tech. Tom then created a successful career as a self-employed electrician and heating and air technician specialist for over thirty years.
