Read moreThe Wetumka JOM hosted its third annual Native Cultural Fashion show in celebration of Native American Month. The event was held on November 20th in the Wetumka School Auditorium. There were nineteen participants, from ages Pre-K to high school. There were several princesses in attendance: Muscogee- Creek Nation Princesses: Junior Miss, Mia Powell, and Aholcvce Deer, Seminole Nation Princess Little Miss, Gia Burgess, and Jr. Miss Taya Jones, Miss Indian Oklahoma Bikers Princess, Genesis Talamasey. Gia Burgess blessed the audience with a beautiful Muscogee hymn. The MC was Selena Dornan.
