Pinson was also sentenced to 57 months in prison for one count of Assault resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, to be served consecutive to the other terms of imprisonment.

Read moreClearview has waited for months for bridge repair to open the Main Street of their town. In 2023, during the spring, the creek water washed away the Main Street bridge. Through a series of USDA grants, COEDD, Okfuskee County District 3, and the Muskogee Creek Nation, a plan for a box bridge replacement was finalized. Just before the final steps to set the boxes in place, the storms, the spring storms retuned and halted progress. Soon and very soon, Clearview will have a new bridge in place and traffic will flow once again on Main Street. A small creek can halt a whole town.
