Blades was named for the second time "Teacher of the Year" at Glenpool Middle School. Blades teaches health and P.E. and is a high school and middle school track coach. In addition to all her activities, she has a school bus route delivering students to and from school safely. She is involved in many community activities, teaches Bible classes at her church, and attends all her children's afterschool activities.
