Ashley Deann Ellis

Ashley Deann Ellis was born June 25, 1998 in Ada, Oklahoma to Susan (Deere) Ellis. She passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 21.

Ashley was an Okemah High School graduate and resident of Wetumka, Oklahoma. She was employed as a game tech at the Holdenville Casino. Ashley enjoyed music, concerts, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She had a zest for life. Ashley was always “Happy Go Lucky”.

She is survived by her parents, Henry Harjo Jr. and Susan Ellis and her two brothers, Edward Dean Ellis and Kira of Okemah, and Andrew Robert Ellis Jr. of Wetumka. Grandmother, Velma Ellis of Tulsa. Among her nieces and nephews; Serenity A. Ellis, Lealani Ellis, Aleah Ellis, Jayden Ellis, and Taleah Ellis.

Active Pallbearers are Pacer Lowe, Justin Rhinehart, Ky Lowe, Nick Stapp, John Wolfe, and Shawn Wolfe.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Visitation and viewing was held on Tuesday, May 12th, 10:00 AM -4:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Wetumka, Oklahoma, and Wake Service was held Tuesday, 7:00 PM at the Alabama Quassarte Community Center, Wetumka, Oklahoma. Funeral Service was held Wednesday, May 13th, 2:00PM at the Alabama Quassarte Community Center.
