Benny Wayne Gordon
Benny Wayne Gordon passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Christus St Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico at the age of 52.
Benny was born January 5, 1969 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Johnny and Pamela Gordon. He graduated from Holdenville High School. During his lifetime of working Benny had been the Head Cook at OBU and a general laborer in various areas in the oilfield industry. He attended Choctaw Church of Christ in Holdenville when he was growing up.
Benny enjoyed spending time with family and all family functions. He would always be smiling and so proud when his “Pumpkin”, Ariel Solis, and granddaughter, Blossom, would come to visit. Benny enjoyed fishing at Grandpa’s farm, watching football, rooting for his favorite collegiate team OU, and randomly yelling out “Boomer Sooner” at any given time. His favorite NFL teams were NY Giants and KC Chiefs. He had a passion for Nike shoes, music, playing dominoes, cards, old school cars and western movies.
Benny had a handsome mischievous grin and smile. With his great sense of humor, he would keep his sibling and cousins all on their toes not missing any chance to give them at hard time! His hearty laughter would fill any room. Benny was always helpful, extremely quick witted, intelligent, funny and enjoyed singing and dancing (even if it was off rhythm). He had a special entrance and presence about himself; everyone would know when he entered a room. He loved giving his nieces nicknames. Benny was a very proud father of all his children and loved them dearly.
