Bernice Alexander

Funeral services were held on Friday, Mar. 25 at Indian Fellowship Church, Tulsa, for Bernice (Harjo) Alexander, 84. She was originally a member of Many Springs, born to Barney Harjo and Annie Cornell. She attended Eufaula Boarding school, Chilocco Boarding School, where she was nominated the “most friendly.” She went to work at Modern Bindery in Tulsa from where she retired.

She was a dear servant of God. Her grandfather was Rev. Willie Cornell, former pastor of Many Springs. She is buried in the South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa. Keep her loved ones in your prayers.
