Billy Daniels Fields
Billy Daniels Fields, Sr., age 47, passed away July 31, 2021. Billy was born September 15, 1973 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Billy W. Fields and Lola Fields.
Billy moved to Wetumka in the 2 nd grade around 1980. He grew up there, went to school there, and graduated in 1991. He moved to Ada after high school and worked at the Patton Animal Clinic. He also worked at Locke Supply. He met and married Leah Jean Colbert in 1995 and moved to Owasso to manage the Locke Supply Store Plumbing Division, which he managed for 16 years. Leah and Billy had two children. Sadly, Leah passed away in 2008.
Billy had multiple hobbies, but his true passion was hunting racoon, for which he even skipped out on his high school prom. He also raised and trained coon dogs. He started this at nine years old and had a great reputation for dog handling. He trained two coon dogs into well-decorated champions. These dogs were named Fields’ Hard-Knocking Rage and Chance, who he found for free on Craigslist. Billy named him Chance because that’s all he felt like he needed—a chance. Billy also coached little league baseball and football, he was a Sooners fan and a fan of the Owasso Rams. Billy even had a hobby being an oil producer, which became a career with his company named Fields’ Oil and Gas in 2015. Billy traveled often, as well. Billy had strong Christian values and he served on several mission trips to Montana and North Dakota.
Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Lola Fields and his wife Leah. Billy is survived by his father Billy W. Fields, his daughter Elisa Fields, his son Billy Fields, Jr., and his sisters Beth Bell and Rebecca Fields-Cooper.
