Chris Ann Burkett

Chris Ann Burkett passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 56.

She was born October 17, 1964 in Corcoran California to Samuel Shumard and Laura Crowden. Chris worked as a CAN, most recently for Pioneer Nursing Home in Wetumka.

Chris Loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Chris was a caring, kind person. She enjoyed going to the casino and spending time with family.

Chris is preceded in death by her parents; husband William Earl Burkett Jr.; and her aunt Janice.

She is survived by her children, Dustin Fearn and wife Kasi of Okemah, Brian Eugene Fearn and wife Ayla of Chickasha and Amber Smith and husband Kenny of Holdenville; grandchildren, Adien Fearn, Addison Fearn, Ashlyn Fearn, Breanna Fearn, Claude (Thomas) Fearn, Samuel Fearn, Marcus Fearn, Lucas Fearn, Landen Fearn, Kailie Percell, Earnest Percell and one on the way; siblings, Heather Gabbard of California, Deanna Gabbard of California, and Sean Sharrin of California; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service was held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Chapel with Pastor Jimmie Freeman officiating. Interment followed at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Brian Fearn, Dustin Fearn, Landen Fearn, Kenny Smith and Gary Orsburne.
