Clifford Allen “Bud” Rogers

Clifford Allen Rogers “Bud” was born July 15, 1957 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Eunice Irlene (Wiley) and Clifford Jewel Rogers. He passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 18 days.

Bud graduated from high school and met the love of his life, Diane in 1975. They were later married on April 17, 1976 and began 44 years together. From this union they raised three sons: Jason, Jeremy and Brandon. Bud spent the majority of his life working in the oilfield and putting in long hours away from home. When he would have some time at home he enjoyed watching John Wayne films, fishing and taking care of his yard but his passion in life was his family and spending time with them.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Rogers and sister Karen Rogers.

Bud is survived by his wife, Diane of the home; sons, Jason Rogers and wife, Stephanie, Jeremy Rogers and wife, Lisa, and Brandon Shatswell and wife, Terri; six grandchildren, Kylie, Ryah, Cason, Madison, Macie, and Robert; six brothers, David Rogers and wife, Lisa, Marvin Rogers and wife, Debbie, Gene Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Charles Coleman and wife, Linda and Jimmy Rogers and wife, Donna; 3 sisters, Cleta Henley, Nita Roberts and Carol Arnn and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family set aside time for friends to come by the funeral home to honor and pay their last respects on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 9:00 - 5:00 with private family services taking place at a later time.
