Dale “Denise” Gentry

Dale “Denise” Gentry, former Seminole resident, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 52.

Denise was born May 1, 1969 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jimmy Dale Peters and Sharon Sue (Gentry) Peters. Denise was a CMA at Oakridge Home. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and family. Denise enjoyed traveling, singing, camping, church and arguing with her brothers-in-law.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Steven Paul Gentry; and brother, Jimmy Dale Peters Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Alan Bellis of the home; children LaDale Peters and Joseph Wimberly of Holdenville, Sherry Gentry of Holdenville, and Misty Gentry of Holdenville; 16 grandchildren; siblings Sherry Lamb and husband Donnie of Holdenville, DaRinda Lemmings and husband Stephen, Kay Craig and husband Shane of Holdenville and Renea’ Crawford of Checotah. Denise is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18 ^th , at New Life Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor Bill Chesser Sr. officiating.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
