Jack Randall Rupe

Jack Randall Rupe age 82, of Wetumka, Oklahoma passed from this life on February 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Jack was born on October 31, 1942, to the late Jessie and L.S. “Doc” Rupe.
Jack attended Moss schools as a young child. He then moved to Wetumka Schools in the 4th grade, and this is where he stayed until he graduated. He and his wife Peggy had three children, Marsha, Charla, and Jackie.
Jack was a member of First Baptist Church in Wetumka.
He was a volunteer fireman at Wetumka Fire Department, where he was named the 1985 Fireman of the Year. He also spent 25 years as a Wetumka School board member.
He was a welder by trade, but Jack had many other interests and hobbies too.
He liked to fish and hunt. He enjoyed working on the farm and being on his tractor. He had a passion for riding and roping, and he became a champion bull rider in 1959.
Jack worked hard in everything that he did. He loved to just sit around and tell stories, and he was always looking to make those around him laugh.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and L.S. “Doc” Rupe; his wife, Peggy J. Rupe; and two of his children, Charla Moody and Jackie Rupe. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Marsha Rupe of Wetumka; his grandchildren, Bailey Lindsey of Wetumka, Rowdy Young and Kristyn Pratt of Wetumka, Randi Young and Cody Meadors of Wetumka, Abbi Young and Brodric Ford of Wewoka; great granddaughter Rozlyn Lindsey of Wetumka, and expected great grandson Jaxson Wayne of Wetumka; brothers, Jimmie and Dale Rupe of Somerville, Texas, and Joe and Marilyn Rupe of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister, Sharon Dilday of Holdenville; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
