Janie Ann Harjo

Janie Ann Harjo passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

Janie was born April 18, 1956 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to James Dale Faulkner and Elsie Mae (McGirt) Faulkner. Janie graduated from Eufaula High School. Janie was a member of Many Springs Baptist Church. She worked for Heritage Village Nursing Home as a Housekeeper. Janie enjoyed cooking, garage sales, visiting family, spoiling her babies. Everyone was welcome in her home with a open heart.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Lewis Wayne Harjo, Fred Billy, Gary Faulkner; siblings Samuel Powell, Larry Faulkner and Ricky Faulkner.

She is survived by her sons Eric Harjo and wife Timilee of Gallup, New Mexico, Grant Harjo of Holdenville, Blaine Harjo of Holdenville, and Brent Harjo of Holdenville; grandchildren Brittney Harjo, Mya Harjo, Carson Harjo Zachary Harjo, Taryn Postoak, Koi Harjo, and Creason Harjo; siblings Jimcy McGirt, Lucille Farber, Danny Faulkner and wife Susan, Terry Faulkner, Tony Faulkner and wife Mona, and Teresa Conley and husband David. Janie is survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Janie was taken to Tookparfka Baptist Church in Calvin for the Wake Service at 7:00 PM, Monday, August 8th.

Funeral Service was 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 9th, at Tookparfka Baptist Church with Pastor Frank Moppin officiating and Rev. Danny Faulkner assisting. Interment followed at Tookparfka Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Timothy Powell, Kevin Farber, Craig Farber, Justin Faulkner, Robert Harrison and Gerran Scott. Honorary pallbearers are Matthew Young, Nicholas Faulkner, Brandon Farber, Lance Farber, Steven McGirt, Joshua Taylor, Andrew Faulkner, Alex Avelar and Adam Haney, Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
