Jimmy Ray Mitchell passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 59.
Jimmy was born July 27, 1959 in Yazoo, Mississippi to James and Frances Mitchell. Jimmy married Carol Lipps on November 18, 1999 in Royce City, Texas. He was a truck driver for Hughes County District 3. He loved spending time with family and cooking BBQ.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Paula Peterson, and brother Michael Mitchell.
He was survived by his wife of the home Carol Mitchell; sons, Cody Hernandez and Jared Hernandez, both of Calvin; daughter Linda Hernandez of Wyoming; and three sisters, Gladys, Marilyn and Lois.
