Paul was a very hardworking, loyal, family man. He had a love for driving 18-wheelers and made a living most of his life doing so. His career of driving trucks took him many, many places across the world. He was a truck driver for 45 years and recently retired from Accord Transportation after 18 years of service this past May. He was not only a truck driver, he was an asphalt legend, known to many across the world as Chief Leadfoot because he was always the first
one to get there and acquired his share of speeding tickets in doing so. Although his passion for truck driving kept him on the road, his love for his family always brought him back home.
When he wasn’t burning up the roads, he enjoyed being home on the lake and tending to his home and visiting with family, friends and coworkers. Paul loved eating ice cream, and enjoyed watching wrestling, cops and westerns, above all else he enjoyed being the best Grandpa and Great-Grandpa to all of his Grandkids and Great-Grandkids. Grandpa was the kindest and most giving person there was, he always lent a hand to help and would say “That’s what Grandpas are for”.
He will be greatly missed, but he left memories with us all to cherish forever. Paul didn’t speak much on faith but his faith and trust with God was not only felt but seen to those that knew him. Although his life here on earth is done, his journey in Heaven has just begun as he is reunited with his family and love of his life Stella Arlene.
