Larry Paul Hamilton
Larry Paul Hamilton passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Larry was born November 4, 1945 in Wetumka, Oklahoma, (in an ONG company house) to Paul and Fern Hamilton. He married Donna Wheat Peace on May 6, 1995.
Larry attended Faith Free Will Baptist church in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He held Tookparfka Baptist Church forever in his heart as his home church.
Larry enjoyed riding with the Dusty Trail Riders, hunting, fishing, working, traveling but his favorite hobby was pestering anyone and everyone no matter their age or position in life. Larry loved his family and would do anything for anyone.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Fern Hamilton; and beloved #1 son Kevin Saloom.
He is survived by his wife Donna, of the home; brother Barry and Linda Hamilton of Slidell, Louisiana; children Brandon Hamilton and Amy Gifford of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Steve and Amy Hamilton of Cameron, Oklahoma, John and Sarah Hamilton of Poteau, Oklahoma, Angie and Jon Whittaker of Clarksville, Tennessee, Kimberly Lasater of Holdenville, Oklahoma, and Silas Hamilton and Hayley Swift of Holdenville; grandkids Seth McLean, Wesley Harden, Garret Hamilton, Weston Hamilton and Brooke Leatherman, Michael Hamilton, Ava Hamilton, Macy Lasater, Jaxon Hamilton, Hannah and Ryan Armstead, Triniti House and Robert McCoy, and Danielle Swift; and one great-grandchild, Elliot Armstead. Larry is also survived by numerous friends and relatives.
Funeral service was held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18 th , at the First Baptist Church Holdenville with Brother Earl Scroggins officiating. Pallbearers were Brandon Hamilton, Silas Hamilton, Steve Hamilton, Jon Whittaker, John Hamilton, and James Lasater. Honorary pallbearers were Vince Coats, Scott Fowler, Anthony Regain, Mark Spear, Brad Linderman and Clifton Saloom.
