Leroy Manion passed away in Holdenville, Okla - homa on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the age of 70 years.

Leroy was the son of Jackie & Judy (Hicks) Manion, born on Septem - ber 22, 1953 in Coalgate, Okla - homa. He was brought up in the Chalky, Oklahoma community and was a graduate of Stringtown High School. He attended beauty school in Ada, Oklahoma. He was a well-known hairdresser and worked all his life in that profession. He worked for Bob Moore after mov - ing to Holdenville, then he worked at Hair Power. He also worked in Dallas for a number of years before moving back to Holden - ville. He was also talented in painting and drawing, and loved gardening and travel. He had a love for cats. He loved people and one of his favorite things was just enjoying good conversation with family and friends. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Hold - enville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jackie & Judy Manion, and one grandson, James Bates. He is survived by two children; son Jason Man - ion and wife Al - anna of Holdenville, and daughter Robin Mills and husband Danny of Wetumka; three grandsons: Dan - iel Chapman and wife Milee of North Caroli - na, Joseph Manion of Holdenville, and Jack Manion, also of Hold - enville; one grand - daughter, Morgan Fry of Wetumka; two sis - ters, Rita Roberts and Tina Releford (Ron), both of Chalky OK; the mother of his children and caretaker, Shirley Brown of Holdenville; other family members and many friends.
