Linda Sue Ellis

Linda Sue Ellis was born on October 28, 1947 in

Holdenville, Oklahoma to parents Willie Mae Dilday and Richard Lena. Linda went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 7th, 2023.

Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Linda married the love of her life John Clifton Ellis on June 10, 1995. They have many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. If you knew Linda, you knew her second name was the infamous “Nanny.” She took care of anyone that stepped into her home. She had a huge heart of gold. She loved her family with her whole heart. And she loved spoiling her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

The Heavens gained an incredible angel. This beautiful soul of a woman will be so greatly missed by many.

Linda is survived by her husband, John Clifton Ellis; grand-daughters Kailie Kopp, Hailey Ellis, Nacobi Nucosee, and Alexis Walker; grandsons Ryan Deaton, Christian Ellis, Trenton Ellis, John William Ellis, Jayson Ellis, Jarrett Ellis, Jayden Ellis, Jaxon Ellis and Dylan Walker; and many greatgrandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Nalley (Dilday; father, Richard Lena; and daughter Angie Deaton.

Graveside service was 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 11th, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Tupelo, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
