A Memorial Service for Michael Anthony Pumphrey will be held October 15, 2021, at 1:00 PM, at Fisher Funeral Home, 700 S Broadway, Holdenville, OK 74848.
A Family and Friend Luncheon following the Services will be at Church of the Nazarene, 323 South Oak Street, Holdenville, OK 74848.
Michael was born February 6, 1992 at El Paso, Texas to Lorri (Pumphrey) Lillis. He passed Away September 28, 2021 in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma, at the age of 29.
Michael attended school at Moriarty Public Schools in New Mexico. In his youth he was into biking, BMX, and dirt bikes. He liked working on and riding motorcycles with his brother Devon.
He moved to Oklahoma in 2012. Where he worked for farmers in Okmulgee County and a few years at the Okmulgee Stockyards. In 2015 he started a career in construction in Okemah, OK where he worked with a crew of men that soon became brothers.
Michael enjoyed all outdoor adventures, such as hog hunting, coon hunting, deer hunting and fishing, riding horses and shooting guns. His greatest joy was sharing the outdoor adventures with kids and family in his life. He spent many happy hours helping his father Mike work on restoring and rebuilding cars. His mother Lorri said he always had to have the last word, he definitely left his mark on everyone he met.
Michael met Rebecca Kibby in May of 2014 and shortly there after moved to the Horntown area where they shared a home and started a family.
He is survived by his life partner Rebecca Kibby and daughter Korina Pumphrey, with twin babies due in January 2022 of the home, and one Son Bradyn Hinkle of New Mexico.
He is also survived by his Mother Lorri Lillis and partner Jake Triplett of Guthrie, OK. Father Mike Lillis of Oklahoma City, OK. One Sister Katelyn Lillis of Oklahoma City, OK. Brothers Devon Lillis and wife Destin Martin, children Breckon and Rylee Lillis of Guthrie, OK, and Brother Frank Moss.
Maternal Grandmother Sharon Gambler of Guthrie, OK. Paternal Grandparents Tom and Jewel Moss of El Paso, Texas. One Aunt Donna Mathews of Topeka Kansas, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was proceeded in death by one Sister Sarah Pumphrey who welcomed him to Heaven.
Services are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, of Holdenville, Oklahoma and officiated by Overseer John T. Barry, Shiloh Church.
