Our sympathies extended to the families of Velma Ruth Huddleston

Velma Ruth Huddleston, 86, former longtime resident of Weleetka, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022, in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Ruth was born on August 27th, 1935, in Pharoah, Oklahoma to Mac and Georgia (Yarborough) Bowen. She was a homemaker and enjoyed telling stories, playing the harmonica, ukulele, the organ and was an accomplished pianist and gave lessons on how to play.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bobby Bowen and a sister Frieda Griffin, and by a great-grandson, Grayson Lami.

Survived by two daughters, Pamela Stewart of Norman, Oklahoma and Brenda King and husband Terry of Anadarko, Oklahoma. Four grandchildren, Joshua Peeler, Rachel Horsey, Keeley Jackson, and Colby King, and also eight great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Chapel in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka, Oklahoma.
