Dean Mathis
and Eupha Glee (Chaffin) Mathis. He graduated from Calvin Public School. Sammie married Francine Casstevens in Pampa, Texas. He was a rancher.

with his family and friends.
Sam, the man, would slip in
a sly quiet remark to bring a smile to all of us. He was always a hard worker.
Sometimes holding down three jobs so that his family would never want for anything. He never missed a day's work. He
hated retirement and was
always looking for a job for his wife...(one of his many jokes). He brought broken
families together and they
became one large loving family.
