Service held for Barbara Ann Chaffin

Graveside services for Barbara Ann Chaffin Stewart, 85, of Allen were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18th, at the Atwood Cemetery, Rev. Coy Howry will officiate.

Ms. Stewart passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at an Ada nursing home. She was born March 16, 1935 at Atwood to Ben Franklin and Buenia Victoria Leigh Chaffin.

Ms. Stewart had worked for O.G.&E. in the accounting department as a bookkeeper.

Survivors include two sisters, Gwen Shandy, Okmulgee and Mary Allred and husband Jim, Allen; a nephew, Don and wife Robyn Edmond; two nieces Vickie Chaffin, Broken Arrow and Pamela Sanders and husband Brent, Allen; numerous great-nieces, nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her the parents; a sister, Georgene Chaffin; a brother-in-law, Bob Shandy; and three nephews, David Shandy, Jimmy Shandy and Gary Allred.
