Service held for Patti Gibson


Patti (Ketner) Gibson was born March 20, 1954 in Edmond, Oklahoma, and passed from this life on February 26, 2019 in Weleetka, Oklahoma.
Patti lived in Seminole, Texas until age six, and grew up primarily in Midland, Texas. She graduated Lee High School in 1972, and graduated from the University of Texas, Austin. She worked as Realtor in Humble, Texas from 1982 to 1986. Then, she made a career of running a dentist’s office as an office manager and dental assistant in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area until 2018.
Patti is preceded in death by her parents, Coughran Ketner and Meria (Horton) Ketner.
Patti is survived by her husband, Clay Gibson, of the home; by her daughter, Shannon Foley and husband, Brian Foley, of Cypress, Texas; by two granddaughters, Shawn Foley and Brooke Foley; by her sister, Retha Peterson of Midland, Texas; by her niece and nephew, Robyn Birkla and Ryan Peterson; and many other
relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Patti Gibson were held Friday, March 1, 2019 at 10:00am at the Free Will Baptist Church of Weleetka. Rev. Dale Smith officiated. Pallbearers were Tim Williams, Destrey Gibson, Craig Gibson, Hoyt Gibson, Brian Foley, and Ryan Peterson. Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka and Weleetka.
