Service Saturday for Debra Gail Hull
Debra Gail (Moore) Hull, “Debbie”, passed from this life to her eternal home in Heaven on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the age of 65 years old. She was surrounded by family in her daughter’s home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She fought a lifelong battle of Crohns disease and the last couple of years, breast cancer. She was a true warrior.
Debbie was born August 8, 1953 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles Moore and Wanda Sue (Brittain) Moore. Debbie graduated from Holdenville High School with the class of 1971. She attended Seminole State College for 2 years.
She married Cletus Colbert on June 16, 1971. From that union they had two daughters, Jennifer Roberts and Leigh-Ann Canfield.
Debbie was very talented and owned Debbie’s Portrait Studio in Holdenville and Debbie’s Flowers & Gifts in Seminole, Oklahoma. She loved baking and entering bread contest, she won many ribbons and awards entering county fairs and state fairs. She loved her daughters, granddaughters and great-grandsons with all her heart. She was blessed with the greatest parents who she loved dearly. She also loved entertaining, hosting family meals and parties and she loved the ocean and the beach. She loved her little dog Sissy, who passed away.
Debbie was preceded in death by her son-in-law Bobby North; grandparents, Homer and Birdie Lee Moore, and Wiley and Ona May Brittain; and great Uncle Earl Moore.
She is survived by her parents, Charles and Sue Moore of Holdenville; her brother Danny and wife Debbie Moore of Holdenville; daughters, Jennifer Roberts and husband Daniel of Seminole, and Leigh-Ann Canfield and husband Justin of Seminole; grandchildren, Brittain Valdez and husband Jonathan Valdez of Holdenville, Hannah North of Holdenville, Marcie Colbert of Shawnee, Faith Dockery, Brenna Can-field, and Brycen Canfield of Seminole, and Micah Dockery of Norman; seven great-grandsons; many cousins, friends and loved ones; and special friends Fronnie Janes, Gayle Hinklin and Amber McGhee.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM today, Thursday, March 14th , at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Pastor Travis Hurst officiating. Interment will follow at the Holdenville Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Daniel Roberts, Justin Canfield, Danny Moore, Shan Moore, Eldon Brittain and Jonathan Valdez. Honorary pallbearers are great-grandsons; Kalem Williams, Kobi Colbert, Easton Valdez, Nolan Valdez, Jax Treadwell, Micco Carolina and Grayson Carolina
