Service Saturday for Melbalene Price

Nora Melbalene Price passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at home in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 88.

Melbalene was born April 5, 1934 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Alvin Evans and Gladys (Golden) Evans. Melbalene attended Holdenville High School. Melbalene married Johnny “Harrell” Price November 29, 1952 in Holdenville. She worked as a Seamstress for Seamprufe for many years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Melbalene enjoyed fishing, sewing,

quilting, crocheting, baking and loved playing with her grandkids.

Melbalene is preceded in death by her parents; husband Harrell Price; sister Loretta Langdon; and son Johnny Harrell Price Jr.

SheissurvivedbyhersonRobbiePrice and wife Michelle of Ada; daughter-inlaw Sheila Price of Copan, Oklahoma; grandchildren Taylor Blackburn and husband Tyler of Owasso, Jacob Price and wife Brittany of Ramona, Hannah Price of Yukon, and Hunter Price of Ada; great-grandson Zaidin Anderson; niece Donna Leewright and husband Mike of Bristow; nephew Ronnie Langdon and wife Sussie of Tulsa; niece Gail Langdon of Tulsa; greatnieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Melbalene is survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Pastor Abraham Gomez officiating.

Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery Pallbearers are Hunter Price, Jacob Price, Tyler Blackburn, Dale Ramsey, Johnathon Collis, and James Leewright.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
