Wanda Ruth Blasengame

Wanda Ruth Blasengame passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, in her residence in Stuart, Oklahoma at the age of 89.

Wanda was born May 13, 1932 in Stuart, Oklahoma to Noah S. Sutterfield and Winnie Davis Suttefield. She attended Stuart School and married James L. Blasengame on August 30, 1949. Wanda was a seamstress for Komar.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Noah and Winnie Sutterfield; husband James Blasengame; a baby boy; and sister Doris Eldean Reeder.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty K. Ingram and husband Mike of Stuart, son James D. Blasengame and wife Sharon of McAlester, son Tommy N. Blasengame and wife Charlen of Stuart, son Terry L. Blasengame and wife Tracy of Stuart, and son Tracy S. Blasengame and wife Dawn of Stuart; siblings, Sherman Dale Sutter-field, Dorothy Jean Lessert, Linda Rose Lee, and Glenda Lorene Prater; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law and friends.

Viewing will be Tuesday, August 31 from 5pm until 6:30pm. at Hudson-Phillips funeral home in Holdenville, Ok.

The funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 1 ^st , at Stuart High School gymnasium, Stuart, Oklahoma, with Pastor Cecil Day officiating and Pastor Matthew Rosenow delivering the eulogy. Interment will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers are her children, siblings, brothers and sisters in law and nieces and nephews.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
