Wyatt Mose Mason Jr. was born on August 25, 1937, to Wyatt Mose Mason Sr. and Veatrice Fidelia Marks Mason in Okfuskee County, in Clearview, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of seven children. Wyatt attended the Clearview School System.

Wyatt relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma where he met and married Penzola Helen Oliver on July 16, 1961. To this union, God bless them three children. One son, Richard Mason, and two daughters Angela Janette Mason and Exzetta Mason.

Wyatt accepted Christ at an early age at North Fork Baptist Church, Clearview, Oklahoma under the Pastorship of Rev. Willis. Wyatt later joined Timothy Baptist Church on July 3, 1975, under Pastor John C. Gilkey Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Wyatt worked in the Tulsa area in several jobs: Oklahoma Steel Casting, Bowl-A-Rama, Sears, and he was a skilled mechanic.

Preceding him in death: His parents Wyatt Sr. & Veatrice Marks Mason, Wife – Penzola Helen Mason, Four sisters: Lottie Beck, Ceola Carter, Juanita Jefferson, and Hurldine Walton. One brother: Nolan Mason, one daughter: Exzetta Mason, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He leaves to cherish his memory & legacy in life: one brother: Sylvester Mason Sr., one siter/ niece: Marcella Mason Clark, one son; Richard (Jeanette) Mason, one daughter: Angela, Jeanette Mason (Greg) Scarborough, Five grandchildren: Tamika, Dornell, Cornell, Shantae, and Greg Scarborough Jr. Thirteen great grandchildren: Darious, Destiny, Emory, Allen, Alex, Alyssa, Aliya, Memphys, Mason, Briannah, Emma, Ellie, and Grace. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
