Danny Lee Lucas passed away in

Oklahoma City on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the age of 61 years.

Danny is the son of Johnnie G. Lucas and Bobbie Jean (Cornutt) Lucas, born on October 11, 1963, in Holdenville, Oklahoma,

where he was brought up and spent his entire life. He graduated Holdenville High School with the Class of 1981. He married the love of his life, Debbie Lynne Aldridge, in Holdenville on June 15, 1984.

They made their home in Holdenville and were blessed with two children, Deric and Cady.

Danny worked thirtythree years as yard

foreman for Holdenville Livestock Market, since 1991. He served as a Holdenville School Board member for many years while his children were attending school.

His favorite things were hunting and fishing, watching OU sports and visiting casinos. Most of all he loved watching his granddaughter Bella’s activities, especially softball. He loved life in Holdenville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Bobbie Lucas; his mother-inlaw, Patsy Gentry; one sister-in-law, Donna

Aldridge.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Debbie Lucas, of the home; two children, Deric Lucas and Cady Lucas, both of Holdenville; one granddaughter, Bella Kay, of Holdenville; two brothers, Andy Lucas of Holdenville and Randy Lucas (Pam) of Harrah; brother-inlaw Mike Aldridge of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his HLM family; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Funeral services will

be Thursday, October 24 th , 1:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Holdenville, and Danny will be laid to rest at Holdenville Cemetery.

Mr. Bill Robinson and

Mr. Tom Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers are Gary Stillwell, David Barbre, Jack Goodson, Colt Parsons, Zac Greenlee, Cory Walker, Kenny Davis, and Greg Caudill. Honorary

pallbearers are
