Christopher Patrick Stripling Christopher Patrick Stripling was born to Jackie Dean and Lavada Marie Ballard Stripling on January 9, 1988, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of thirtysix years old, one day short of his thirty-seventh birthday.
Christopher, known to most as “Bubba,” attended schools in the Shawnee area and graduated from Dale High School in 2006. He loved anything Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, his dog Diamond, old trucks, and especially hanging out with his “Big Cousin” Teddy John. He enjoyed watching his son, niece, and other family members play sports.
Anytime there was a family gathering, Bubba was there. Bubba enjoyed cooking and teaching his son to cook. Most often he loved bringing special recipes to the table to share with others. He was an amazing husband, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to all who knew him. Christopher is preceded in death by his parents Jackie Dean and Lavada Marie Ballard Stripling and one brother Eddie Roy Stripling.
Christopher Patrick Stripling is survived by his loving wife Becky and son Boston Stripling of the home in Shawnee, Oklahoma; sisters Trilbya Stripling Anderson of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Delaney Ann Stripling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sheila Richardson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Faith Zackary of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother Sheldon Brett O’Guinn and wife Michelle of Williamsburg, Virginia; nieces Anneca Anderson of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Payton Stripling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nephew Dysen Stripling of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by loving aunts Shirley Ballard Nero and husband Donnie and Marilyn Jackson of Clearview, Oklahoma, and a host of cousins and friends.
