Jody Lee Nichols Passes Away

Jody Lee Nichols passed away Tuesday January 7 2020 at the Holdenville General Hospital in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age 50.

Jody was born December 12, 1969 in Coal-gate, Oklahoma to Johnny and Velma (King) Coats.  Jody graduated from Holdenville public schools in 1989.  He married Peggy Sue Vance in Bearden June 21, 2003.  He worked on the road crew for Gary A Crain Construction.  Jody was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather Roy Coats; son David Lee Nichols; uncle Wayne King.  

He is survived by wife Peggy of the home; children, A.J. Nichols and Thea Nichols; brothers Allen Nichols of Paris, Arkansas, Henry Nichols of Tulsa, and Claude Nichols of Eufaula; uncles Joe Nichols, Walter Nichols and Kenny King of Tupelo, Willie King of Lula, and Jess King of Olney; aunts Stella Vick of Eufaula, Wanda Benton of Nowata, and Melba Jo Reeves of Ada; and numerous other relatives and friends.
