Service Friday for Merle Leon Polson

Merle Leon Polson passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at Holdenville General Hospital at the age of 84.

Merle as born December 21, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to Olen Polson and Violet Clemens Polson. Merle graduated from high school; he was a bakery manager. He married Donna Briggs February 22, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Merle is preceded in death by his parents; wife Donna Mae Polson; daughter Carla and grandson Joshua.

He is survived by daughter Diana Lee Laviolette of Oklahoma City; grandchildren Kristopher Simmons and wife Jamie of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, Shawn Evans, Cristi Lnmop, and Amanda Evans; and great granddaughter Alissa Simmons.

Viewing will be all day Thursday August 27 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 28 ^th , at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Kristopher Simmons, John Laviolette and Riley Sanford.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
