Service held for Jessie Raymond Long

Jessie Raymond Long passed away Thursday, September 17th, 2020 at Shady Care Center in Pryor, Oklahoma at the age of 62.

Jessie was born September 9th, 1958 to Lucy Long in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was raised in the Holdenville area and graduated from Holdenville High School. Jessie worked in the oilfield for Ackerman Drilling. He was a member of the Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church. He loved sports, watching his grandkids playing ball, and visiting with friends at the smoke shop.

Jessie is preceded in death by his mother Lucy Long. He is survived by his son Jesse Long Jr. and wife Robin of Ada, OK, daughters; Lori Long of the home, Sara Callahan and husband JR of Wewoka, grandchildren; Rosario, Cruz, Maria, Leonah, Raymond, Jessica, Heaven, Gauge, one great grandchild Layton.

Viewing was held from 1:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, September 19, 2020, and Sunday 1:00PM-4:00PM at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma. At 4:00PM Sunday, he was taken to his residence at 310 Kingsberry Road, Holdenville, OK.

A t 4:00PM Monday, September 21, 2020, he was taken to Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church for the Wake service at 7:00PM.

Funeral service was held at 2:00PM, Tuesday September 22, 2020 at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church with Rev. George Harjoche officiating assisted by Rev. Frank Moppin.

Pallbearers were Herschel Wise, Eric Factor, Anthony Harjo, JR Callahan, Leonard Hulbutta, Jonah Bushy. Honorary pallbearers were Chate Man Walters, Jeff Dinwindee and Chebon Walters.

Interment followed at Long Cemetery.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
