Joseph Mosco
Joseph Mosco was born February 6, 1959 to Richard Gene Mosco and Luella Annis Mosco and passed from this life January 7, 2021 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 61.
Joseph lived in several communities around the country with his family growing up. He loved his country and as a very young man he joined the United States Army. However, when it was discovered how young he was he was not allowed to stay.
He soon began a career as a truck driver. He was hired for his first job before he had ever actually driven a truck! He spent most of his working life driving cross-country.
He was married to Carrie Hall and to this union a daughter was born. He later married his wife Kathy and she preceded him in death July 14, 2018.
He enjoyed spending his spare time repairing watches.
In addition to his wife he was also preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include: two daughters, Cassandra Childs and husband Jason of Park City, Kansas and his daughter Sapphire; his mother Luella Mosco of Dustin; Some folks he love as family, Bobby May of Stidham, Sheri Hendricks of Florida, Scott May of Okemah, and their mother Janet May of Dustin; three grandchildren, Eli, Evelyn, and Noah, along with other relatives and many friends.
Graveside rites were held Monday, January 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Wetumka Cemetery with Rev. Brandon McCoy officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka.
