Mike Story

Michael Wayne “Mike” Story passed away Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 65.

Mike was born July 5, 1955 in Ada to JoAnn Story. He attended Bowlegs Public School. He married Monica Pompa in Wichita, KS on July 13, 1979. Mike worked in the oilfield for 25 years before working at Eaton where he retired as a machinist. He is a member of the Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Holdenville. Mike enjoyed taking care of his cattle, ballgames, Thunder basketball and spending time with his grandkids and family.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Monica of the home, children; Michael Scott and Casi Story of Shawnee, Michelle Allford and Ben of Holdenville, Cody Wayne Story and wife Shay of Holdenville, 13 grandchildren; Caitlin Story, Jase Story, Ethan Story, Aiden Story, Mason Allford, Alex Allford, Jaxson Allford, Benson Allford, Gabriel Story, Kodi Taylor Story, Collin Story, Cody Story Jr., Harley Story, sisters; Judy Cloud of Oklahoma City, and Billyjo Simpson of Paden. Mike is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be private for family members only.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday February 5, 2021 at the Holdenville First Baptist Church with Brother Earl Scroggins officiating.

Mask and social distancing will be practiced.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Heard, Leon Barrett, Lindell Armstrong, Pat Brown, Larry Bruce, David Green and Don Merriman.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
