Service held for Maxine Susan Hopkins

Mrs. Maxine Susan Hopkins, 79, former Postmaster and resident of Hanna, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Maxine was born June 27, 1941 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Susie Emma (Nelson) and Mack Wood.

Mrs. Hopkins is preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom S. Wood, mother-in-law Ruth Hopkins and brother-in-law Gary Clymer.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Donald Ray “Hoppy” Hopkins of the home, daughter Page McLarty and husband Steve of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, daughter Cindy Layman and husband Joe of Hanna, Oklahoma, grandson Cole Smith and wife Kyra of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, grandson Chase Smith and girlfriend Summer Winn of Weleetka, Oklahoma, grandson Beau Shepherd and wife Chassity of Hanna, Oklahoma, grandson Jared Shepherd and girlfriend Mariah of Hanna, Oklahoma, granddaughter Miranda Layman and Roberto of Hanna, Oklahoma, granddaughter Katie Jo Layman of Hanna, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Peyton Smith, Addison Headrick, Tucker Smith, Brantlee Coats, AnnaLene Marez, Amery Marez, Leegan Shepherd, sister Sandra “Sandy” Clymer and a host of other relatives and dear friends

Viewing and visitation was held 3:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Graveside services were held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Hanna Cemetery, Hanna Oklahoma.

Serving at Pallbearers were grandsons: Beau Shepherd, Jared Shepherd, Cole Smith, Chase Smith as well as Joe Layman and Steve McLarty Honorary Pallbearers were the Hanna Rural Fire Association, Duane Parrie and Manual Marez.

Services under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
