Service held for Reeca Jo Rowe

Reeca Jo Rowe, 91, of Holdenville passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021. Reeca was born February 22, 1930 in Allen, Oklahoma to Joe and Cleata Owens Jacobs.

She graduated from Allen High School. Reeca was k n o w n around town for checking on her neighbors and friends. Reeca married John H. Rowe on January 14, 1949 in Ada.

Reeca attended the Church of God of Prophecy and raised her three daughters in the same church.

Reeca is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Cleta Jacobs; husband, John Rowe; sister, Betty Woolrey; her only brother, Gary Jacobs; and one grandson, Jimmy Snyder.

Reeca is survived by her three daughters, Peggy McNabb of Allen, Kathy Rogers and husband Steve of Ovalo, Texas and Melba Rowe of the home, three grand-sons, Mike Snyder of Wichita Kansas, Charlie Wolf of Allen, and John Rogers and wife Ashley of Ravia, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Raynonda Fortune and husband Trey of Tuscola, Texas; sister, Martha Johnson of Holdenville; fourteen great-grandchildren, Addie, Heath, Hadleigh, Dillon, Sahara, Sammie, Laney, Lexy, Case, Ciley, Cassidy, Carter, Roe and Gage; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside service was held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday September 8 ^th , at Allen Cemetery with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating.

Honorary pallbearers were Steve Rogers, John Rogers, Phil Snyder, Josh Roscoe, Mike Snyder, Jim Bob Martin and Riley Martin.

Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
