Richard Henry Oliver, Sr.

Richard Henry Oliver Sr. was born on October 9, 1936, to his father, Cecil Duval Oliver, and his mother, Margaret Oliver. Richard passed away from this life on November 21, 2021.

Richard lived around Los Angeles and the 29 Palms area in California, and he moved around ending up in other places such as Verington, and Reno Nevada. He joined the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1955, and in this same year he married Laurel Stephens. He later divorced her in 1971 and married Leona Wilson Lefebve in 1973. Richard had four children, two of which who were Leona’s that he took on and raised. Richard worked for General Motors until retirement. Richard liked doing crosswords, watching Star Trek, and he enjoyed Dr. Pepper and Cherry Mash.

Richard is survived by his brother, Cecil William Oliver, his sister, Beverly Oliver, his son, Kirk Oliver, and fourteen grandchildren.

Richard is predeceased by his wife, Mary; by his son, Henry; by his daughter, Rebecca Rex and husband Scott. By his daughter, Roberta Rodrigues and husband Goon Golden.
