Phillip Gene Caldwell

Phillip Gene Caldwell, Wetumka resident, was born December 14, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to J.J. “Shorty” Caldwell and Gene Oneta (Whisnant) Cooper. He passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022 at his home in Wetumka at the age of 64.

Mr. Caldwell worked in asbestos removal and construction work. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and four wheeling.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marilee Caldwell; one brother, Bruce Caldwell; one sister, Shawn Denice Caldwell and grandson, Skylar Diedrich.

Survivors include his three daughters, Kimberlee Caldwell of Tulsa, Jodie Stapleton-Caldwell of Sapulpa and Ashlee Caldwell of Mannford, Oklahoma; two sisters, Cindy Marifield of Wyoming and Pam Dunn of Tulsa; grandchildren, J.J. Caldwell, Lexee Diedrich, Tayler Stapleton, Christian Caldwell and Dilynn Caldwell and very close family friends, Walt and Jeanie Lackey and family of Collinsville, Oklahoma.
