Graveside services for Debbie June McCalip will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Bachus Family Cemetery in Wetumka, Oklahoma with Bro. Bo Gibbs officiating.

Deborah (Debbie) June (Bachus) Mccalip was born in Wetumka OK, on July 11 ^th , 1954 to Lilburn Junior Bachus and Shelby Jean (Crawford) Bachus. She was the eldest of fi ve children and grew up in the Gopher Hill community. She attended Wetumka schools where she was a proud member of the cheerleading squad, even being voted homecoming queen twice and chosen for Girls State. She is a 1972 High School Graduate in Wetumka. While in high school she began working at Dairy Queen where she worked off and on throughout the next twenty plus years and alongside her bestie Ms.

Emma Jane Banta. On April 1, 1972 she married Mike Mccalip and made their home in Wetumka. Later that year they welcomed their fi rst child Nikki Michelle and began traveling the country with the pipeline where they made numerous lifelong friends. Debbie loved traveling pipeline and meeting new friends. In September of 1979, they welcomed their second child Jaime Lynn. She devoted her life to spending time with and taking care of and loving her family. She was the best sister, wife, and mom but she was especially amazing at being a grandma to her grandchildren Chelsea, Bryan (her Bubbie), Derrick, Ellisa, and Shelby continuing with her great grandchildren Jackson, Mason, Michael, Rustin, Wacey, and Thomas.
