George W. Johnson, Jr.

George W. Johnson Jr. (GG), age 45, went to be with his Father on January 31, 2022. He was born April 28, 1976 to Nancy and George Johnson Sr.

George was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother, son and friend. He met his wife Donna Basham and they married November 2000. He loved spending time with family and friends, most of all he loved spending time with his son, Austin. Austin was his world. George is preceded in death

George is preceded in death by his father George Johnson Sr.; his step-father Alvin Green; Juanita Collin; his niece Ashley Hunt (Smushy); grandparents, Harold and Ella Hall; aunts Eddie Mae, Hazel and Karen Cox; and David Eldon Lewis (Papa Elmo).

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Donna Johnson; son, Austin Johnson; mother Nancy Kubosh (David); sisters Chelsa Thigpen (Johnny Lang), and Shauna Jones (Mario); brother William Jacobs (Deanna Vargas); step-daughter Hannah; nephews Donovan Hunt, Zachary, Thigpen, Jesse Thigpen, Mason Thigpen, David Jacobs, Thomas Jacobs, Samual Tillman, Alex Tillman, and Pete Vargas; nieces Trinity Thigpen (Creepy) and Alissia Vargas; and many other that called him Uncle G. Memorial service will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 12th, at Millsap Community Center, 104 Fannin Street, Millsap, Texas.
