Billy James Clapp

Billy James Clapp passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Billy was born November 5, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bill Clapp and Betty Louis (Eidson) Clapp. He attended Berryhill Public School. Billy worked as a boiler maker and pipeline welder in the oilfield industry. He served in the US Army. Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting and he loved his dog Hazel.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers David Clapp and Richard Clapp.

He is survived by his nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville with Pastor Dane Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Clapp Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Gary Clapp, Winston Hanks, Sean Free, Newon Mulanax, Tobie Johnson and Jeff Parsley.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma/
