Eugene Harjo, Jr.

Funeral services for Eugene Harjo, Jr. will be held today, Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery south of Wetumka. Wake services were held Wednesday, June 15, 2022, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel, Wetumka.

Eugene Harjo, Jr. was born February 13, 1976 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Eugene Harjo and Linda (Gouge) Harjo. He passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 46.

Eugene was a graduate of Crooked Oak High School in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed fishing, KU Jayhawks and especially loved Elvis.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Harjo of Oklahoma City; one son, Jayme Harjo; daughter, Mvhayv Harjo and three sisters, Teresa Notah of Oklahoma City, Callie Notah and husband Tim Geraci of Oklahoma City and Jessica Kendall and husband Joseph of McLoud, Oklahoma.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Remis, Tyler Barnett, Caleb Harris, Toby Gouge, Marcus Gouge, Michael Tiger, and Corey Butler.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Yargee, Joseph Geraci, Austin Sturtz, Joseph Kendall and Randal Butler.

Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma and officiated by Bro. David Dunson.
