Wallace Lewis Johnson, Jr.
Wallace Lewis Johnson Jr. passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at St Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62.
Wallace was born April 4, 1960 to Wallace Lewis Johnson Sr. and Elouise (Beaver) Johnson in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He graduated from Calvin Public School. Wallace was a Forklift Operator for Shawnee Mills. He also worked the pipeline for many years and the oilfield. Wallace enjoyed working on cars, eating, spending time with family, going to the lake and playing horseshoes.
Wallace is preceded in death by his father, Wallace Johnson Sr. and brother Curtis Johnson.
He is survived by his mother Elousie Johnson; son Lewis Johnson of Holdenville; step-son Timmy Kingsbury of Oklahoma City; sibling; Mary (Chip) Johnson of Shawnee, Daniel (Jennifer) Johnson of Holdenville, Connie (Brian) Sands of Wewoka, Charlotte Johnson of Holdenville, Janice (Roger) Birdcreek of Weleetka, and Christopher Johnson of Holdenville; and aunt Wynema Russell and companion Kathy Palmer. Wallace is also survived by numerous other relatives
and friends.
Wake service was held at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21.
Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 22, at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Fixico officiating assisted by Pastor Eric Thlocco. Interment followed at Middle Creek #2 Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bryant Beaver, Jon Beaver, Chad Deere, Leonard Walker, Mike Grove and Dustin Smallwood. Honorary pallbearers are Russell Ring, Fred Pace, Mark Gaddy, Kenny Palmer, Roger Birdcreek, Brian Sands and Chip Walker. Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
