Our sympathy is extended to the family of Ordis Lee Kight

Ordis Lee Kight passed away Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94.

Ordis was born July 24, 1929 in Holdenville to Millard and Juanita Orr. She graduated from Calvin Public School. Ordis married Charles Allen Kight. She was a clerk for the Little Axe Public School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Calvin. Ordis owned and operated the Tasty Freeze Restaurant in Purcell. She enjoyed dancing and spending time at Eufaula Lake.

Ordis is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Cecelia Kight, siblings; Delores Lindley and Sue Nall. She is survived by her children; Ronnie Kight and wife Deborah of Bogata, TX, Bryant Kight of Canyon, TX, 4 grandchildren; Sean Kight, Christie Kight, Cody Kight, Kellor Kight, and numerous great grandchildren. Ordis is survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Viewing will be 1:00pm 7:00pm, Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Hudson- Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville.

Graveside service will be 10:00am, Friday, February 16, 2024 at Calvin Cemetery, Calvin, Oklahoma with Pastor Kurtis Stoll offici ating.

Interment will follow at Calvin Cemetery.
