Theron Henry Forshee
Services Friday, July 26, 2024 Siloam Baptist Church Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Theron Henry Forshee was born on September 14, 1934 in Boley, Oklahoma. He was the third of six children born to Teddy and Lou Ethel (Bluitt) Forshee.
He attended Okfuskee County Schools and graduated form Clearview High School. Thero relocated to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he worked at Darby Everest Cadillac on 4th Street and Walker Avenue as their Premier buffer/ Detailer. Sometime later, Theron aka “Sonny,” aka “Red” would operate the Shamrock Gas Station on 23rd & Glen Ellyn Street in Oklahoma City. That location was a popular gathering spot for the Eastside. A favorite for the Eastside Postal workers, who would enjoy their lunches and fellowship amongst friends.
In January 2000, Theron known as “Henry” to them, started as an Equipment Operator with the Oklahoma State Fair. He worked in that position until 2022.
Those that knew Theron, know that he had a servant’s heart, serving others was his passion. Theron knew that Lord as his personal Savior. He was an active member and Deacon of Siloam Baptist Church until his death.

At 7:58 a.m., on July 17, 2024, Theron transitioned to Glory to be present with the Lord. His father and mother preceded him in death, along with his sister, Juanita, and brother, Pious, and daughter, Marsha Chatman.
Theron leaves to cherish his memory, one daughter Nancy Kaye Hogue of Denver, Colorado; three sons: Steve Paxton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Theron Henry Forshee, Jr. of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Damon Forshee of New Lima, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren; three sisters: Savannah Laskey (Rev. R.C.) of Spencer, Oklahoma; Ara Partridge ((Glen) of IXL, Oklahoma; Violet Laskey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
