Town of Clearview Monthly Meeting

The town trustees met on Tuesday, May 14 at 5:00 p.m. to discuss matters pertaining to the business of the town of Clearview. Trustees present were Peter Bush, Alpheus Grundy, Marilyn Jackson, and Donnie Nero and Secretary/Treasurer/Clerk Shirley Nero. Guest present were Billie Bean and Amy Nix of Eco-Link and others Edith Jimboy, Tremeshia Laster, Zack Emerick, Helen Bush, and Patsy French.

Marjorie Plunkett is home from staying with her daughter in Texas. She continues to drive back and forth from Oklahoma City for treatments. Requested prayers for Clarence Horn in Wichita as he is extremely ill from cancer. He is the son of the late Ira and Albert Johnson Horm formerly of Clearview. Also, Terry Normore, daughter of Clifford Normore, needs our prayers as she is suffering from cancer. Remember those on our sick list, Otis Davis, Taft Forshee, Tiger French, Wilbert Zackery, Yolanda Jackson, Becki Stripling, Christopher Stripling, and Earnest Hamilton.

One Pharmacist’s View

Some of you may know that I went traveling this past weekend — up to St Louis ’s Missouri. It’s a long trip up I-44 and back, but I made it. Due to my old age, I took my personal doctor, Ron, and my private nurse, Pat, with me. It was a hard trip but worth it.
