David Ingram

Thomas "David" Ingram was finally able to retire from the siding business on November 30, 2024, at the age of 71 at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Dave was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on September 7, 1953. He attended Holdenville High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Jumper. He graduated high school in 1971 and they were married in 1973 beginning a marriage that would span over 50 years of enduring love, commitment, and Carnival cruises. Dave graduated with a degree in accounting from East Central University in 1975 after which he worked himself to the bone for decades hanging siding and building roofs and having almost nothing at all to do with accounting. And he loved every minute of it.

When he wasn’t working, or thinking about working, Dave could be found supporting his children at their school/athletic events or yelling at the TV during University of Oklahoma or New York Yankees games. He found joy in life’s simple things: a cold drink after a long workday, a ballgame, and making others laugh with his relentless, yet hilarious dad jokes.

Dave is preceded in death by his father, William David "Dub" Ingram, and grandparents, Owen and Bess Ingram and Thomas and Edith Adams.

He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Jenifer "Jumper" Ford Ingram. of Holdenville; mother, Dolores "Rusty" Ingram of Shawnee; siblings Donna and Roger Morris of Shawnee, Dale and Cindy Ingram of Broken Arrow, and Dean Ingram of Singapore.

He leaves behind children Krisi and Greg Barns of Plano, Texas, Russell and Tracey Ingram of Edmond, and Kelsey and T.J.

Ingram of Edmond; grandchildren Reagan Ingram and Landon Ingram of Edmond, Emerson Ingram of

Edmond, and Max Barns of Plano, Texas. He also leaves behind countless nephews, nieces, greatnephews, great-nieces, and friends.

He also leaves behind a few very well-used tools, a drawer full of random screws, and a dozen unfinished projects sitting around the house.

Dave will be deeply missed but we take comfort in knowing he’s in a place where the tools never dull, the gutter never bends, and the Yankees always win.
