Gary Shane Gore

Gary Shane Gore passed away Tuesday, January 7th, 2025 at Ascension St John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 56.

Gary was born April 20, 1968 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Bobby Floyd Gore Sr. and Frances Virginia (Chitwood) Gore. He attended Holdenville High School. Gary was an oilfield me chanic. Gary was married to Christy (Merriman) Harjo for 14 years. He was a National Guard veteran. Gary

enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, cars, going to the lake, outdoors and being a mechanic. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Gary preceded in death by his father Bobby Gore Sr., siblings; David Gore, Karla Crow, Bobby Gore and nephew Austin Gore. He is survived by his wife Christy of the home, his mom Frances Gore, children; Devan Gore of Holdenville, Shane’a Gore of San Diego, CA, Blake Harjo of Holdenville, grandchildren; Austin Shane Gore, Charlee Ryan Gore, Krystain Harjo, sisters; Karen Johnson and husband Dewayne of Holdenville, Tricia Schlueter and husband Mark of McAlester and brother Jeff Merrill and wife Donna of North Carolina. Gary is survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jerry May, John Tallent, Darren Bible, Tim Reid, Jeff Morris and Ricky Cullum. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Rambo, Jerry Davis, Mike Davis, Pat Brown, Bret Stapp, Tim Epperley and Gary Orsburn.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2025 at Capitol Heights Missionary Baptist Church in Holdenville with Pastor Jim Crawford offici ating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka.

Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville.
